Digital Cameras have almost become a standard feature in digital camcorders. In the majority of camcorders however, the digital photo resolution is so low your photo are unprintable, making the built-in digital camera virtually useless.

If you want to take photos with your camcorder, then you need to purchase one with a 3 megapixel resolution or higher. 3 megapixels is high enough that you can print up to an 8×10 with a good resolution, or you can crop out portions of your photo for small prints.
